Happy 20th anniversary to KMFDM!
2/29/04 - I'd like to take this opportunity to wish a very happy 20th anniversary to KMFDM! It's been a hell of a ride and I can't to see what you guys come up with in the next 20 years. In celebration of this event, KMFDM.net has a plethora of 20th anniversary goodies for your perusal, including a special message from Sascha and some bitchin' new artwork. Check it out!
Photo submission closed.
2/27/04 - Photo submission for the WWIII DVD ended on the 18th. Big thanks to all who submitted them. My apologies to those who sent pictures in after the submission deadline; I totally forgot to post about the end of the submission period. If you didn't get a chance to submit your photos, hang on to them. There may be a place for them after KMFDM DOTKOM V3.0 debuts.
New-ish interview.
2/17/04 - You can find an interview with Sascha here. It's not exactly hot off the presses, but it does give a nice insight into how the royalties process works.
WWIII + Opium boxed set?
2/15/04 - Looks like a few countries outside the U.S. will be getting a special release of WWIII and Opium boxed together. No word yet if it'll just be a straight rerelease of the two albums or if there will be new features. Thanks to Boris_Brznjef for the heads up.
Info on Pigmartyr producer & guest vocalist.
2/9/04 - British chickrocker Harry will be doing vocals on the track "take" on the upcoming Pigmartyr album. The original version of this track can be heard on the SickCity Volume One compilation. Additionally, we've found a little more info on the mysterious Eden, co-producer of the album. It seems he's the bassist for Harry's band, also named Harry. Thanks to Altered eg0 for the heads up.
KMFDM wants your pictures!
2/9/04 - KMFDM is looking for fan photos to include in a special section on the upcoming WWIII Tour DVD. Photos can be from the WWIII tour of the band playing live, of you with the band or even of you at home showing off your KMFDM collection. Photos must be less than 500K and must be submitted by February 18th. Just make sure that you're the one who took the picture. Don't send pictures you didn't take. Got all that? Good! Send your pics to fanphotos@kmfdm.net. Also, while you're at it, don't forget to sign up for the KMFDM newsletter via the frontpage of the site.
Lucia album sold out.
2/5/04 - Looks like the remaining supply of Lucia albums got devoured after the previous post. If you still want a copy, email luciac@houston.rr.com and they'll try and let you know when more copies become available.
Get your Lucia albums while they're hot!
2/2/04 - Still looking for a copy of Lucia's solo album? Well, you're in luck. The eBay seller lucia_cifarelli has about 40 copies left for sale. Alternately, you can email luciac@houston.rr.com and request a copy. Either way, it's $12 plus $3 for shipping. Best of all, these CDs come signed by Lucia herself! Better hurry, though; the supply won't last long and there aren't plans to reprint the CD in the near future. Also, if you're interested, there's a small amount of Lucia-related merchandise still available from the aforementioned seller.
