- MARCH 2003 -
More Skurk shots.
3/31/03 - Thanks to the very generous Jakub Krompolc, we have two more shots from the upcoming "Skurk" video. Enjoy!

Lucia journal update & promo single.
3/31/03 - Lucia has updated her online journal. Also, it looks like the promo single for "So Clever" has started to show up on eBay. You can see a couple of the auctions here and here.
All Access closing its doors.
3/27/03 - As of April 1st, KMFDM.net will not be accepting any new All Access members. It's apparently "reached its limits". Existing memberships will be honored for a full 365 days, regardless of when they joined. However, I'm not sure if this means that they'll be completely closing All Access come April 1st of next year. The wording is a little unclear.
Big Lucia journal update & single release.
3/26/03 - Lucia's online journal has been updated. There's not much info, but it's still an interesting read. Also, her first single, "So Clever", has hit radio stations, so be sure to call and request it.
Guenter Schulz photography.
3/25/03 - Guenter Schulz's website has been redesigned to focus on his photography. You can find a gallery of his work, including some really nice portraits of some KMFDM alumni. Wow, who Guenter had been to Africa? Thanks to Royce for the heads up.
The Golden Age of Grotesque review...kind of.
3/25/03 - Thanks to a generous donor, I got to hear the new Manson album today. I was going to write up a big review, but it's really not worth it. Keep in mind that this is just my personal opinion, but TGAOG is a huge disappointment. Manson was really emphatic that this was going to be a new sound, something really different than what they'd done before, but it's just the same old schtick. Tim Skold's influence is barely present. There are a couple of memorable tracks, but overall it's just more of the same, and the formula's really starting to get old.
Lucia's album moved up.
3/24/03 - Over at the Universal Records site, Lucia's album has finally popped up on the upcoming releases chart. Looks like we'll be getting it a week earlier, as it's now scheduled to come out May 13.
Manson tracks leaked.
3/23/03 - *psst* You didn't hear this from me, but digitalnoise.org has MP3s of the first three tracks of Manson's upcoming album, The Golden Age of Grotesque. As you probably know by now, TGAOG was produced by Tim Skold.
All Access update.
3/21/03 - Four new MP3s from the 84-86 tapes have been added to the All Access section of KMFDM.net. Feast your ears upon "Achtung!", "Add", "Moon" and "#1".
KMFDM.net update.
3/20/03 - KMFDM.net has been updated with a short essay by Sascha dealing with his stance on the war. It's very well done, so be sure to check it out. And in case you're wondering what the little bit of German text at the end means, it roughly translates to "Schroeder, you cowardly sow! NO FLYOVER RIGHTS FOR THE AGGRESSORS!", which I believe is referring to the current German chancellor's decision to let the U.S. into Germany's airspace for Iraq-related activities.
Lucia's journal fixed.
3/19/03 - All of the entries in Lucia's online journal have been combined into one page, so you can now read all of them. Interesting tidbit: in a couple of the updates, she mentions that she's working on lyrics for a new KMFDM song.
Lucia's journal updated.
3/17/03 - Once again, Lucia's online journal has been updated, and once again, you can only view the most recent entry.
KMFDM.net unupdated.
3/17/03 - Over the weekend, the news section of KMFDM.net was updated with links to several articles about the upcoming war with Iraq. However, the updates have now disappeared. Interesting.
Exclusive "Skurk" image.
3/12/03 - Huge thanks go out to Jakub Krompolc, the director of the "Skurk" video, for sending us the following still from it.

KMFDM.net updated.
3/12/03 - The news section of KMFDM.net has been updated. The update gives info on the vinyl release of the "Boots" single as well as giving a definite release date for the Sturm & Drang Tour DVD: June 3. Looks like there'll be a good amount of bonus material on the DVD, as well.
New Lucia journal entries.
3/12/03 - Lucia's online journal has been updated with a couple more journal entries. Still can't access the older entries, though.
New image from the "Skurk" video.
3/11/03 - You can see a new two frame animation from the "Skurk" video here. Ya know, no matter how many times I see it, I'm still amazed at how accurately that guy modeled Skold's head.
Boots vinyl available for order.
3/11/03 - Even though it's listed as coming out March 18, it looks like you can already order the limited edition Boots vinyl here. Thanks to Brandon from KMFDM Radio for the heads up.
New Lucia journal entries.
3/10/03 - Lucia's online journal has been updated with three new journal entries. However, you can only view the most recent one; the little pull down menu doesn't seem to be working and, as far as I can tell, there isn't any other way to get to the older entries.
Lots o' stuff.
3/08/03 - Tons of stuff has happened in the past few days, so let's get right to it, shall we? First off, the official KMFDM site has been updated not once but twice. The first update gives info regarding the new webmaster and Lucia's solo album (including the correct release date, May 20). There are also a couple of tidbits about upcoming features on the site. The second update is much smaller, mostly alerting us to the fact that the All Access section has been updated with some tracks from the 84-86 demo tapes and a version of "Today" with Peter Murphy (!) on vocals. Also, there are four new sites listed in the links section, including this one :D.
Thanks to several people emailing Sascha about it, we now know that the rumor about him working with members of Rammstein is untrue.
The journal section of Lucia's official site has been updated with its first non-"testing" entry.
According to the latest Metropolis newsletter, the Sturm & Drang Tour DVD will be tentatively be released sometime in June. Also, looks like there's a vinyl version of the "Boots" single coming out March 18.
Three songs off of Lucia's solo album, "So Clever", "Nothern Star", and "Feels Like Summer", have been added to the playlist over at KMFDM Radio.
Whew, I think that just about covers everything.
Sascha working with members of Rammstein?
3/04/03 - Take this one with a grain of salt. According to this article from the Metal Hammer website, Sascha is supposedly working with a few members of Rammstein for a new project called Emigrate.
KMFDM.net updated.
3/04/03 - The news section of KMFDM.net has been updated with several items. It mentions the new shirt design and Lucia's upcoming album, but also says that the Sturm & Drang Tour Live DVD is finished and going into production soon. Additionally, a few tracks from WWIII have been finished and will be previewed in the All Access section soon (woo hoo!). Finally, the infamous 84-86 tapes are being encoded for inclusion in the All Access section (woo hoo x 2!).
UPDATE: I just noticed that the KMFDM - Moron animation on the newspage has been changed. It's black and white now, with the words "IMPEACH DUBYA!" inserted inbetween every frame.
