Pig update.
5/30/03 - Below is a message alledgedly posted by Raymond Watts to thesickcity message board.

I've heard some of you are rather pissed off with my total inability to keep on producing rancid tuneless, filth, that pass off as albums (or C.D.'s to the more up to date of you) that squirm beneath the moniker known as PIG. I am both flattered and amused by the ferocity of your anger and irritation. I would also like to thank you for your intrest and insults. Yes it has been a while since I last released any PIG, and I don't want or need to make any excuses, (actually it's too @#%$ long for me to be bothered to type out) and why the @#%$ do want to hear about my @#%$ when I'm sure you've all got enough of your own. However, I've finished my little stint with KMFDM and will get this new PIG @#%$ straight to ya'll as soon as ,......well when pigs fly. Don't hold your breath though 'cos you're all gonna hate it. 5/27/03 - Even though he declared his online journal more or less dead a couple months ago, Bill Rieflin still pops in for an update every now and then. Today, he mentions that he's recently been to KMFDM's recording studio to record some background vocals for a song.

5/22/03 - Metropolis Mail Order now has the Sturm & Drang DVD available for order. And best of all, they're shipping it now, too. Thanks to m0nkey for the heads up.

Also, I want to apologize for the lack of updates in the past week. There's just not much going on to report on.

5/15/03 - Over at Metropolis Records' KMFDM page, you can view a thirty second clip from the upcoming Sturm & Drang Tour DVD. It looks outstanding; definitely better than the live videos posted to the All Access section.

Slick Idiot update.
5/14/03 - After a long fallow period, the Slick Idiot website has been updated with news on their long-delayed remix album, ReDickUlous. It is now scheduled for a May 27 release through their website. It features remixes from members of Clawfinger & Hanzel und Gretyl and possibly the worst cover art I have ever seen.

Lucia journal update.
5/13/03 - Lucia has updated her online journal. Sounds like she should have an interview on MTV.com soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

Lucia album delay.
5/12/03 - Over the past week, Universal has removed From the Land of Volcanos from the "new releases" section of their website and the album has been removed from most online retailers' listings. As you may have suspected, Lucia's album has been delayed. This isn't totally bad news, however, as it means that Universal wants to build up more hype for the album. They should be releasing another single sometime soon, mostly likely "Feels Like Summer" (a much better choice than "So Clever", IMO). Also, thankfully, according to Lucia, the delay shouldn't be more than a couple of weeks.

5/12/03 - It's not much, but both Tim Skold and Lucia Cifarelli are mentioned in the Hot Product section of Billboard's website.

5/12/03 - Just wanted to clarify something from yesterday. According to the video's creator, the video for "Skurk" should be done in about two months.

well, where to start....? the album is written and recorded and now the mixing process has started. myself and marc heal, being longtime friends of raymond's have had the "rewarding" task of keeping watts in the studio long enough to do anything and get him out of his endless depression caused by...well whatever it is that usualy makes him depressed. when the @#%$ has been in the studio all has gone well but does tend to dissapear for days/weeks on end. he assures me that you'll all hate this stuff anyway so what can you do? patience. he rarely looks at this board but the more posts encouraging him to get out of bed and finish what we have started, the better. i am "the @#%$" eden.

5/07/03 - Marilyn Manson will be performing on The Late Show with David Letterman tomorrow (Thursday, May 8). I would assume that Tim Skold will be with them. Thanks to MaR for the heads up.
