Marilyn Manson

The Golden Age of Grotesque
Release Date: TBD 2003
How is this KMFDM related? Well, back a while ago, Manson was hired to do music for a couple of movie soundtracks - namely doing part of the score for Resident Evil and doing a cover of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" for Not Another Teen Movie. Needing a writing partner for these projects, he asked Tim Skold to help him out. The two hit it off extremely well and Manson eventually asked Skold to co-produce his next album. Then, in mid 2002, Twiggy Ramirez left Manson's band. Since he'd been a bassplayer for years, Skold was the natural choice to replace Twiggy.
So, how much Skolditude will be featured on this album? Well, considering that Twiggy wrote a good bit of Manson's music and Skold is replacement, I'm betting that a fair number of the songs on The Golden Age of Grotesque will be at least co-written by Tim.
